libeb16 software package provides C library for accessing electronic books (runtime files), you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libeb16
libeb16 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libeb16 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libeb16 *
You will get with libeb16 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
